Cancellation and Refunds

 

  1. All bookings on the Parkvue mobile app are prepaid where the user has to book the slot and is billed as per the number of hours chosen and hourly rates of the parking site.
  2. Parking owner/intender/caretaker has no right to cancel the parking space booked by the Parkvue app user/customer. Once the Parkvue customer/user has reached the parking space he/she reserved, then, the parking owner/intender/caretaker must provide parking space to the customer/user.
  3. Parkvue customer/user has right to cancel the booking prior to the booking time. In this case the refund will be processed in original payment method in 3-5 working days.
  4. Please note that any stays longer than the booking time will be charged by the parking lot/garage for any additional hours/days not paid for and will not be refundable once charged.
  5. In case of any dispute between the Parkvue customer/user and the Parking owner/intender/caretaker, regarding the unavailability of the parking space (even after the confirmation of the reservation of the parking space), or any other issue, Parkvue customer care must be contacted to resolve the disputes.
  6. If the primary reason of the dispute is unavailability of the parking space (even after the confirmation of the reservation of the parking space), then a nearest available parking space will be provided to the Parkvue customer/user.
  7. In case the same is not available, Parkvue is obliged to refund the complete payments made by the user.
  8. or any other reason of dispute, legal procedures will be followed.

SECTION 1- WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

We collect the personal information you give us, such as your name, address, email address, phone number, location and vehicle license plate number.

By using Parkvue or any other domain owned by the Company, you authorize Parkvue (including its representatives, affiliates, and business partners) to contact you via via email, phone call or SMS and offer you our services for the product you have opted for, imparting product knowledge and offering promotional offers, for which your information may be collected in the manner as detailed under this policy. You hereby agree that you authorize Parkvue to contact you for the above-mentioned purposes, even if you have registered yourself under DND, DNC or NCPR service(s). Your authorization, in this regard, shall be valid as long as your account is not deactivated by either you or us.

To provide accurate insights on User trips

Through our product called ‘Drive+’, we collect your location data to track user’s trips and provide meaningful insights in terms of driving score, speed graph, and violations made during the trip. We require continuous access to location data to track the user’s trips when the app is not running in the background so that the user doesn’t miss any of their trip’s data, and there is accuracy in the data provided by us.

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

If, after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information at anytime by contacting us at support@parkvue.com

How do I withdraw my all-time location access?

If you do not wish to provide all-time location access to us, you may, at any time, change the settings to “Allow only while using the app” or turn off “all-time location access.”.

About contact list consent Our app may request access to your contact list on your mobile device. This access is requested to enhance and streamline your bill payment experience within the app. We will only access and utilise the contact information for the sole purpose of facilitating bill payments within the app. We will not share or use this information for any other purpose, including marketing or third-party activities. By granting the app access to your contact list, you consent to the use of this information solely for the purpose stated above. If you choose not to grant access to your contact list, you can still use our app for bill payments. However, the contact list feature will not be available.

SECTION 3: DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 7, SECURITY

Protected Information and Usage Information we collect is securely stored within our databases, and we use standard, industry-wide, commercially reasonable security practices such as encryption, firewalls and SSL (Secure Socket Layers) for protecting your information.

All our endpoints and domains are protected with HTTPS with 2048 or 4096-bit encryption and issued/signed by trusted CA. This helps to ensure information flowing through our server is encrypted and your data safely reaches us. Client/Browser side vulnerability can still result in issues, We recommend that you keep your system up-to-date and take appropriate actions to deal with viruses, Trojan horses, etc. locally.

Your data is saved in our database and is protected via ACL/user authentication and passwords are rotated periodically to ensure your safety. We take the appropriate major measures to ensure only our application server could access the database.

We periodically take backups of our database for disaster recovery; all our backups are kept isolated with encryption to ensure your data is safe.

Once data reaches its retention expiry, it is deleted using tools like shred, which help ensure data is safely deleted and non-recoverable.

However, as effective as encryption technology is, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our databases, nor can we guarantee that information you supply won’t be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet or wireless communication. Any information you transmit to the Company is at your own risk. We recommend that you not disclose your password to anyone.

We use cookies to maintain the sessions of your user. It is not used to personally identify you on other websites.

SECTION 11: CAR EXPENSES MANAGEMENT

Your car-related expense analytics via SMS on your Android phone (applicable for only Android phones): You can choose to provide specific & explicit consent to allow the Parkvue Android App to access your text messages (SMS) inbox received on your Android mobile device.

 

    • After obtaining such explicit consent from you, the Parkvue Android App may automatically read your SMS text messages pertaining to your car-related expenses (including but not limited to FASTag toll deduction, FASTag recharge/top-up, fuel payments, etc.) arising out of transactions made from UPI, credit/debit cards, netbanking, wallets, etc. through text messages (SMS) received by you from providers of services and/or banks (including but not limited to retail outlets, financial institutions, and utility companies) on your Android mobile device.

 

    • This will enable us to organise your expenses across your transactions, use cases, service providers and banks in one view and also provide analytics on the same to you. This will also help you get an accurate picture of your expenses on all car-related services.

    • No personal SMSes or OTPs are accessed by Parkvue.

    • You can choose to opt-out of the expense analytics services at any time by writing to privacy @parkvue.com.

“As you access and use our services, we collect certain information from you, including, but not limited to, phone number, email address, device make-details, and IP address. By accessing and using our services, you expressly consent to the sharing and disclosure of your collected information with our third-party service providers, business partners, and agents. The content uploaded on the platform is sourced from external sources and validation is performed to comply with the terms and conditions of the infringement of intellectual policy and the Developer Program Policies.

SECTION 12-Lending LENDING SERVICES

If you avail services from the lending services through Parkvue mobile app, Section 12 of this Policy will be applicable to you. In the event of any conflict between the contents of other sections of this policy and this section, the provisions of this section shall prevail to the extent of such conflict.

 

    • You may request us to delete your information, revoke your consent to access it, or opt out of processing your application by submitting a request for account deletion through the Parkvue mobile app via the profile section. On submitting a request to delete Your account, you confirm/understand that:

    • You have no outstanding credit facility available on the Parkvue platform.

    • You have no pending or potential grievances in relation to any of your previous dealings with Us.

    • Your account will be permanently deleted. We will not be able to reactivate your account.

    • You will receive no further communications from Parkvue.

    • You, however, understand that We will be required to or retain and accordingly use and disclose any specific data if required by law, rule, regulation, law enforcement, governmental official, legal, or regulatory authorities, and / or to such other statutory bodies as have appropriate authorisation, for the purposes of completing any legal obligations, or for audit requirements. We will not retain your Personal Information (including sensitive personal data) for longer than is required for the purpose for which the information may lawfully be used.

    • Only one-time access will be granted for camera, microphone, location or any other facility necessary for the purpose of onboarding or KYC requirements, with your explicit consent.

    • Parkvue App will not access your mobile phone’s resources, such as file and media, contact list, call logs, telephony functions, etc.

    • Parkvue App does not store your personal information except some basic minimal data (viz., name, address, contact details, etc.) that may be required to carry out our operations.

    • All your data is stored in servers located in India.

For vendors using the ParkVue Vendor Application, we collect:
